About Jazzercise

What is Jazzercise?

The Jazzercise workout program combines jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing movements into one 60-minute total body workout.  Each workout blends dance aerobics with muscle toning and stretching movements, all choreographed to today's hottest music, including Top 40, jazz, country, funk, rock and hip hop. Our instructors make all the routines fun and easy-to-follow. Every class includes a gentle warm-up, 30-minute cardio section, strength segment with weights and a stretch finale. Whether you are new to the Jazzercise exercise program and need some help learning the basics or a long-time participant looking for technique tips, you've come to the right place!

All of our movements have been reviewed by an exercise physiologist for safety and effectiveness!

What are the instructors' credentials?

Each Jazzercise instructor is professionally trained and certified by Jazzercise, Inc. Jazzercise is accredited by AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America).

All instructors are CPR certified and receive continuing education in all aspects of dance and excercise physiology.

Start Today!

Just come 15 minutes early to any class ready to workout and bring your checkbook. You can just try a class with a $15 walk-in pass, purchase our new student pass, E.F.T. (our best deal!) or purchase another pass. Check out the prices page for details.

What do I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing - most students wear loose pants or shorts and a T-shirt. Aerobic shoes are recommended. Class times are approximately 1-hour.

Is it aerobic? Is it low-impact?

The first half of the 1-hour class concentrates on aerobic activity. The instructor will show high and low-impact options so that students of all levels can participate and get the most out of their workout.

Jazzercise focuses on and improves coordination, cardiovascular fitness, balance, flexibility, posture and muscle tone.
